Overnight campers experience the same exciting adventure activities as day campers, but have the added experience of staying overnight! Overnight campers will experience smores and songs around the fire at night, and unforgettable sunrises from their pond-side tent in the morning. Adventure activities include but are not limited to; High Ropes Courses, Hiking, Zip Lining, Outdoor Laser Tag, Climbing Walls & Rappelling, Archery, Gaga Ball, Team Building Activities, BMX Pump Track Riding, Stand-up Paddle Boarding, Arts & Crafts, Animal & Plant ID and MORE!

Bike camp is for those campers who LOVE to bike! While most groups hike from activity to activity, bike campers ride their bikes. They still get to do most of the activities offered at camp (archery, high ropes & ziplining, field trips, Summit Aerial Park, pond activities, etc.) but they have a lot more biking activities than typical campers. They also work on a biking skills progression throughout the week working on pavement, grassy areas, bike park features, pump tracks, and possibly even the downhill mountain biking trails.

Your child belongs in bike camp if they can confidently ride a bike without assistance or training wheels and they are eager to improve their biking skills. This group typically has a variety of ability levels in it, but all riders must have the basic skills & athletic ability to ride easy cross-country terrain already.
All Bike Camp participants will have access to cross country bikes, pump track / BMX bikes, and a Downhill Mountain Bike for a $100 weekly charge. Campers can bring their own bike(s) but they will be evaluated for use on the first day. XC bikes must have gears, hand brakes, and a front shock/suspension.
If your child signs up for bike camp and would prefer to be in a regular group for the rest of the week, we can move them. However, this is not ideal as day 1 is teambuilding.

Each camper will be able to make a choice of which field trip they would like to go on, either Whitewater Rafting on the Lehigh River OR the Palmerton Memorial Pool. This field trip is included in the price of camp.

Medications are NOT allowed to be on a camper, in their backpack, or in a tent unless specifically authorized by a camp leader. This includes any over-the-counter medication or prescribed medication. All medications sent to camp with your child MUST be handed to a camp leader or nurse during the check-in process.
Exceptions authorized by a camp leader may include emergency medications such as inhalers or EpiPens. The counselor and all camp leadership will be notified the child is carrying that medication.
All medication is stored in a locked location and given to the respective camper at needed times. It can be quickly accessed by authorized staff in the event of an emergency.
Staff will not administer any medication. They will only hand the medication to the camper for them to take / administer themselves.
All Camp staff are basic first aid and CPR certified. A higher first aid trained staff (Outdoor Emergency Care) is onsite during activity hours. The camp’s nurse is always available for consultation, and we are only 10 minutes from urgent care.

There’s nothing like the adventure of sleeping outdoors! Overnight campers will be assigned to a group tent with 3 to 10 campers in each. There are twin sized bunk beds and mattresses in each tent with a solar light inside and a deck outside the tent. Each tent has a counselor assigned to its supervision and sleeping in an adjacent tent.
Tents are group by gender based on the determination you make on your camper’s application.
There are porta johns located at tents for campers to use during overnight hours. Your camper will have opportunities to use a public restroom in the morning and evening, typically during breakfast and dinner.
Shower cabins are offered to your child daily. Your child’s group will have a scheduled time they are able to use the shower cabins towards the end of each day. We will encourage but not force any campers to shower.
In addition, we have an Overnight Supervisor who is responsible for the overall planning and supervision of overnight activities. This person stays up well into the night to make sure campers are resting and recharging for their following camp day. Campers will always know where they can find this person at any hour.

Drop Off for campers is from 8:30-9am. The earliest you can drop a day camper off is 8:30am and they are expected to be dropped off by 9am daily. If you need an earlier drop-off option, it is available from 7:30am-8:30am for an additional fee. Early drop-off includes breakfast with the overnight campers for $125/week.
