About Us

Blue Mountain is the home of Pennsylvania's highest vertical, the most varied terrain and some of the longest runs in PA!  Close to home – we are only 90 minutes from Philadelphia and 90 minutes from New York - so you can join us any day or everyday of the year.

Blue Mountain is located along the Kittatinny Ridge, which is part of the far-reaching Appalachian Mountains.  The Appalachian Trail is a neighbor, giving hikers quick access to our many amenities during their travels.  With the breathtaking backdrop of the Pocono Mountains, Blue Mountain sits within the picturesque Little Gap Valley.  Originally named Little Gap Ski Area in 1977, Blue Mountain was born in 1989 to better identify with the grand-scale of our mountain.  Blue Mountain has 39 ski trails to challenge your skills so you'll never run out of thrills, and with 16 lifts to get back up to the top the fun never stops.

Blue Mountain is best known for skiing, boarding & tubing in the Winter.. yet it's far beyond the everyday experience for non-Winter Mountain Adventures!  If you're not yet familiar with our endlessly amazing activities, Blue Mountain also offers Disc Golf, Downhill Mountain Biking, Outdoor Laser Tag, High & Low Ropes Challenge Courses, Ziplines & Climbing Walls, Adventure Camp, Adventure Parties, Teambuilding, Corporate Meetings, Weddings, Special Events & so much more during the Spring, Summer & Fall!

So whether you're a fanatic, a first-timer, a group looking for adventure, or a family out for fun; you'll enjoy a first-class experience at Blue Mountain.  Whatever your pleasure - there's always something to do at Blue!

You Do the Math:

164 (acres of fun) + 39 (ski trails) + 21 (tubing lanes) + 21 (bike trails) + 16 (lifts) + 3 (disc golf courses) + 2 (challenge courses) + 2 (outdoor laser tag fields) + (teambuilding, corporate meetings, reunions, banquets, special events, adventure camp & parties, etc.) = The most wickedly-awesome place to have an adventure!
