Spartan Poconos is BACK at Blue Mountain Resort on July 13th & 14th, 2024. As one of Spartan’s longest standing venues, Blue Mountain is home to one of the most challenging courses in the Spartan series. Get ready to scale rugged mountain terrain, dense forests, and vertical that challenges even elites. Trust us, the amazing views of the Pocono Mountains from the top will be worth it!

Arrive at our Valley Lodge location at the bottom of the mountain. This is where primary parking is and where the race begins. Spartan recommends arriving at least 90 minutes before your race start time.
Spartan offers a Spectator Pass for $20. This pass allows you to spectate the race as well as enjoy the Spartan festival area. If you visit the festival, look for the Blue Mountain Resort booth for merch and information!
There’s plenty of activities to do on the mountain while the race is going on! These Blue Mountain Resort activities will remain open during the race:
+Dining at Slopeside Pub & Grill
+Zip Lining, Rock Climbing, High Ropes Courses and more at the Summit Adventure Park
+Outdoor Laser Tag
Spartan offers locker rentals to keep your valuables safe. To guarantee a locker, Spartan recommends reserving one early.
There are many local hotel and Airbnb options in the area. The closest hotels to Blue Mountain are the Hampton Inn and Country Inn & Suites in Lehighton. The Lehigh Valley area is the next closest and offers a variety of hotels.

Reward yourself after the big race with lunch or dinner at our mountain top restaurant, Slopeside Pub & Grill! Fuel up with a full menu featuring Burgers, Sandwiches, Salads, Entrees and Spartan themed specials. Slopeside is located in the Summit Lodge at the top of the mountain.

The Summit Adventure Park offers a challenge for the whole family! Zip Line, conquer High Ropes Courses, Rock Climb, Free Fall, and MORE! Choose between a 2 or 4 hour ticket. The Summit Adventure Park is located just outside our Summit Lodge at the top of the mountain.

Battle it out on our Outdoor Laser Tag Fields! Blue Mountain is open to the latest hi-tech Laser Tag Guns. Play games like Death Match, Capture the Flag, Zombie Attack and so much more! Outdoor Laser Tag is located just outside the Summit Lodge at the top of the mountain.

Friday thru Sunday: Games start at 10am, Noon, 2pm, and 4pm
Take home Blue Mountain souvenirs and apparel to brag about your time in the Poconos! Visit the Blue Mountain Resort tent inside the Spartan festival to get your swag.
Get ahead of next year’s competition!
Our Blue Burn Trail is a 4.5 mile trail that takes you from the bottom of the mountain, to the summit, and back down again. This trail is timed by RFID technology so you can track your progress all season long to get Spartan strong!
