Pond Skim 2026

Will YOU skim it or swim it? There’s only one way to find out! Blue Mountain’s annual Pond Skim will be held Sunday, 3/29/2026! This will likely not be our last day of the season- stay tuned for April skiing and riding hours.

Registration: 9am-11am in the Alpine Room in the Summit Lodge. All participants must sign a waiver, anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian’s signature.

Event start time: Noon

Location: Vista trail- just outside of Slopeside Pub & Grill

Helmets are required to participate!

Pond Skim is always free to enter, but a lift ticket or season pass is required.

Skimmers will get a FREE event t-shirt while supplies last.

Spectators are welcome! This is a FREE event.

The pond is traditionally about 100 feet in length. We encourage all participants to wear their craziest outfits to make a splash! We’ll see YOU at Pond Skim!
