Stay the week with us and explore the mountain day and night. Overnight Campers experience the same adventures of the Day Campers, but have the added fun of spending their mornings & nights at Blue Mountain Resort! Overnight campers are housed in our group tents overlooking our ponds and prairies.  

Overnight Campers get to experience Blue after dark with night hiking, stargazing and sitting around the campfire telling stories and roasting smores! They will also enjoy three meals a day with their fellow Campers and Counselors and learn the basics of sharing spaces in a cabin.

Activities include, but are not limited to; High & Low Ropes Courses, Hiking, Zip Lining, Outdoor Laser Tag, Climbing Walls & Rappelling, Archery, Gaga Ball, Disc Golf, BMX Pump Track Riding, Stand-up Paddle Boarding, Arts & Crafts, Animal & Plant ID and MORE! 

FIELD TRIPS ARE NOW INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF SUMMER CAMP!

Campers will go Whitewater Rafting on the Lehigh River! This is a full day trip with a picnic along the riverbank halfway through.

SUMMER ADVENTURE CAMP TOURS 2024

Interested in Summer Adventure Camp but have questions and want to meet the staff? We are offering tours on March 24th between 12pm and 1:45pm and April 27th between 2pm and 3:45pm. RSVP to see our facilities and meet with camp staff!

AGES:

10 to 15, your camper will be grouped appropriately with children in their age group for activities and sleeping quarters.

LOCATION:

Our Summer Adventure Camp is located on over 300 acres in Palmerton, PA.

Campers should be dropped off at the Valley Lodge on the Sunday of their camp session at 3:30 pm . Campers will be provided dinner on Sunday night.

FAQs

Overnight campers experience the same exciting adventure activities as day campers, but have the added experience of staying overnight! Overnight campers will experience smores and songs around the fire at night, and unforgettable sunrises from their pond-side tent in the morning. Adventure activities include but are not limited to; High Ropes Courses, Hiking, Zip Lining, Outdoor Laser Tag, Climbing Walls & Rappelling, Archery, Gaga Ball, Team Building Activities, BMX Pump Track Riding, Stand-up Paddle Boarding, Arts & Crafts, Animal & Plant ID and MORE!

Due to the growing popularity in biking, campers can now choose the bike group adventure camp option! In addition to our regular adventure sports activities, these campers will spend most of each day riding their bikes on our new cross country trails, pump track, skills course, and skate park. Kids are encouraged to bring their own bikes and helmets, and will be taught about basic maintenance and adjustments.

Overnight campers will go Whitewater Rafting on the Lehigh River with our partners at Jim Thorpe River Adventures! This is a full day trip with a picnic along the riverbank halfway through.

Overnight campers will sleep in our canvas 10-person tents. The tents are located in the Valley of the mountain next to our pond and prairies.

Overnight campers will be provided 3 meals a day, including dinner on Sunday drop-off day.

Hot showers and indoor bathroom facilities are nearby to sleeping quarters.
