Want to mix things up a little and try something new?  Join us for one of the many specialty classes we have on the mountain!

Tai Chi

Tai chi is a centuries-old Chinese martial art that descends from qigong, an ancient Chinese discipline that has its roots in traditional Chinese medicine. According to some records, tai chi dates back as far as 2,500 years! It involves a series of slow, meditative body movements that were originally designed for self-defense and to promote inner peace and calm. (THIS IS A 6-WEEK PROGRAM ONLY Held on the following Tuesdays: 5/14, 5/21, 5/28, 6/4, 6/11, 6/18)

Ballet Barre

The class will start with traditional ballet barre learning positions and combinations to create balance, strength, and flexibility, following with full body stretching center floor which compliments a classical movement element.  We'll end class with a guided meditation adding the option of  therapeutic grade essential oils. Check in at True Blue Retail Shop at the Summit Lodge at 5:30 for class. Class will be held at the waterfall site located at the Summit Lodge.  Space is limited, so register early! (Classes start Thursday, May 30th & run until Thursday, August 29th)
