Whether you choose to rent from our Summit Rental Shop or our Valley Rental Shop, you can take your pick from over 4000 shaped skis and over 2000 snowboards. Our staff prides itself in offering you the latest technology in skis and boards and in fitting every guest with the right equipment, whether you are a novice or an expert. We even rent helmets and have tuning and repair services available at both locations. The Valley Rental Shop has multiple points of service. These include lift ticket and lesson sales, making it an excellent place for families and first-timers to get started. You'll also enjoy this rental shop's close proximity to several chairlift options. The Summit Rental Shop recently expanded it's check-in area, providing more space to accomidate the crowds! Blue Mountain is proud to announce the state-of-the-art Montana Challenge MAX automated Ski & Snowboard Tuning Machine. Located at the Summit Lodge next to the Summit Rental Shop. Blue Mountain is the first and currently only shop in the United States to operate the Challenge MAX! The Challenge MAX is capable of tuning all types of ski & snowboard equipment with un-matched precision. From race skis to rental skis, this machine has the capability to provide fast, quality ski & snowboard tuning. The Challenge MAX is capable of tuning to World Cup standards and features Montana's Crystal Glide Finish and automatic HTT base beveling technology. The state-of-the-art machine has a 5 step process: 1. Repair, 2. Stone Grinding, 3. Side Edging, 4. Base-edge Beveling and 5. Waxing & Polishing. Click here to view the video.
