Terrain Parks

Blue Mountain subscribes to "Smart Style". Please read all signs at the entrances and within the terrain parks. Follow all rules and above all, ski/ride responsibly and respect yourself and your fellow skiers/riders!

Snow Grind will be helping our park crew build the terrain parks again this year!  Caleb and Josh from Snow Grind will be teaming up with our head groomer Danny Shupp and our new terrain park manager, Jason Rice, making Blue Mountain's parks fun and exciting for all riding abilities!

Are you a beginner, intermediate or expert in terrain parks? What ever your ability, Blue Mountain is the place to ride.

EXPERT LEVEL

Sidewinder Park:

Our premier park continues to evolve and progress. We have installed more snow guns, giving Sidewinder the most snowmaking capacity of all our trails. Last year we redesigned and widened almost the entire trail, and this year we tweaked it some more. Here's what you'll find:

40 ft double barrel straight

40 ft down flat down

35 ft 180 degree C box

down flat down S

street stair set

8 ft wide butterbox with grindable rails

multiple 70 ft jumps

rhythm section

tabletops

cbox

For more pictures and information about the new features in Sidewinder Park and Central Park visit the Destoy Lab website

• To enter the park you now need to remove your board or skis and walk up a flight of stairs. We have concerns for people meandering and ignoring park etiquette, so we have stairs at the park entrance to discourage people from "just passing through" our premier park.

• Once you enter the park, the capabilities are endless.  Over the years we have constructed this trail to be 3 TIMES WIDER than it was originally.  Topping it off with 54 snow guns to make a blizzard of snow creating a terrain park paradise.

• Thanks to our Zaugg and state-of-the-art park Bullys, we now have endless capabilities on building and sculpting our rhythum section of a hip, followed by 3 large jumps for your maximum airtime pleasure.

NEW! Central Park:

Our park crew is brining the "streets" right to our slopes. Central Park will feature 2 brand new custom built stair sets from Snow Grind as well as other street related and urban elements.

Snowcross Trail:

Connecting Sidwinder Park with Terrain Run, Snowcross is a succession of carved banked turns and rollers, funneling out into a medium sized table top, more rollers , and our large cement mixer jib just waiting for anyone who is up for the challenge.

PROGRESSIVE LEVEL

Come Around Park:

Come Around Park is our terrain park made for the intermediate level rider. It is situated next to Raceway and is easily accessible by the Vista chairlift.  This park is a nice combination of rails, boxes, jibs and jumps created just for the intermediate rider.  If you need to build up your riding  levels before entering Sidewinder, Come Around is the place to progress.

BEGINNER LEVEL

Terrain Run Park:

Our terrain run is specifically set up for the beginner rider.  Located at the bottom of the mountain as a final mellow approach to our Valley Lodge, all our boxes and rails are ride-on with gradual transitions.  This is a great area for to start out nice and easy to learn the correct way to ride freestyle terrain.

Blue Mountain locals are progressing at an amazing rate, so come join us! Our dedicated park staff is here around the clock to give you the best riding capabilities.
