EXPERT LEVEL

Halfpipe
Blue Mountain's half pipe is 400 ft. long, providing 4-5 hits. Our state of the art Zaugg Pipe Groomer makes our half pipe better than ever.

Sidewinder Park
Our premier park continues to evolve and progress. We have installed more snow guns, giving Sidewinder the most snowmaking capacity of all our trails. Last year we redesigned and widened almost the entire trail, and this year we tweaked it some more. Here's what you'll find:

• First, to enter the park you now need to ride up a flight of stairs. We've heard your concerns of folks meandering in and ignoring park etiquette, so we've added this feature to discourage people from "just passing through" the area.

• Once you hardcore parkies enter the park, the fun and thrills are laid out in front of you. This revamped trail is 3 times as wide (YES 3 TIMES) on over 75% of the run. It also has 54 new snow guns (YES 54 NEW GUNS) to make a blizzard that blankets this awesome trail.

Sunday School Flyer

• Snowgrind designed and built 3 curved boxes (a roller coaster, a transition box and a flat-to-up box). Also new this year are a pyramid box, down-flat fun box, 40' straight box, and 40' single-barrel hand rail. This is all in addition to our host of existing rails and boxes, including a 35' step-down jump, 40' flat box and small stairset.

• Snowgrind, will help us build our park again this year. Josh is in high demand building half pipes and parks for a host of ski areas. Working with our head groomer, Danny Shupp, and Keith Esmail of Park Crue, this partnership will once again provide Blue Mountain's adventurers with a truly fun and rideable park.

• Thanks to our Zaugg and state-of-the-art park Bullys, we now have for your 'airtime' pleasure a rhythm section of four jumps, preceded by a sculpted spine/hip on the first corner.

• Blue has been justly recognized as the home of the "Big Dog Booters"! This year we also have another 60-footer along with other jumps, including rhythm sections and table tops.

Sunday School at Sidewinder Park
sponsored by Army & Navy of Whitehall

Every Sunday morning we will be having an impromptu rail jam. this is a fun competition for jibbers in an open class format. We will close off a couple of rails or premier newbuilds every week. Product giveaways, grand prizes and loud music!!! From opening week until we close at seasons end, you'll find a rail jam every Sunday at Blue.

Remember, you can only win it if you're in it.

Snowcross
What was once Lower Sidewinder is now a succession of carved banked turns, funneling out into exciting terrain that includes a 20' table top, rollers and our prize possession, an awesome cement mixer jib, waiting like a behemoth, to challenge the true park warrior......

PROGRESSIVE LEVEL

Come Around
Our park for intermediates is situated next to Raceway, and easily accessed by the Vista chairlift. Come Around is a delightful little succession of jumps, jibs and boxes. If you need to build up your skill levels, before heading out to Sidewinder, here is where you can progress quickly. Jump on rails and easy stylin' kickers will set you up for the big time. In this park you'll find:

• a flat rail
• a 8'x 4'butter box
• a 24' flat box
• a small battleship box
• a 20' roller coaster box

• a flat-down rail

BEGINNER LEVEL

Terrain Run
Our terrain run is specially set up for beginners. Located on the final mellow approach to our Valley Lodge, all the rails and boxes are ride-on with gradual transitions. This is a great area for beginners to start out nice and easy. This run includes a 200-foot mini pipe, a 8X4-foot butter box, one mellow rainbow box, a flat down box and a spine with mailbox on top.

Blue Mountain locals are progressing at an amazing rate, so come join us! Our impressive terrain and dedicated park staff are here to fulfill your wildest park riding desires.
