Premier Programs


Our premiere programs offer a host of workshops and groups to improve your skiing and snowboarding ability. For the 2009 – 2010 season, they include:

 

Instructor Training Course
Our Instructor Training Course (ITC) will give you the opportunity to make new friends and improve your riding or skiing skills. Plus, you'll have a great time doing it! Our two-day ITC program is organized and conducted by certified ski (PSIA) and snowboard (AASI) professionals, who are truly passionate about their snow sport.
DATES:  December 12th and 13th, 2009
TIME:     8am-4pm, both days
FEE:       $50 (lift ticket included)

 

Junior Instructor Training Course
Our Junior Instructor Training Course (Jr. ITC) will give you the opportunity to make new friends and improve your riding or skiing skills. You must be 14 years of age by December 12th, 2009. If selected you will also need working papers before you can be hired. Strong intermediate skiing or riding skills are needed to participate in the Jr. ITC course.
DATES:  December 12th and 13th, 2009
TIMES:   8am-4pm, both days
FEE:       $50 (lift ticket included)

 

Women's Workshop  Ages 21 and older
This unique program was designed by women and is taught by women. Intermediate through advanced skiers 21 years of age and older will have the chance to discover new levels of confidence and personal growth by taking this six week course. Share the experience and fun--bring along a friend!Free babysitting available.
DATES:  6 Consecutive Wednesdays starting January 13th,  2010
TIMES:   10am to 12noon (morning session)
                 1pm to 3pm (afternoon session)
                 7pm to 9pm (evening session)
FEE:       $165 (lift ticket not included) $155 if paid for by November 16th, 2009

 

Seniors Workshop

This late-morning program is for intermediate and advanced skiers interested in improving their skills while skiing and learning with their peers.
DATES:  6 Tuesdays starting January 5th, 2010
TIME:     10am-12noon
FEE:       $165 (lift ticket not included) $155 if paid for by November 16th, 2009

 

The Art of Carving
Our specialized clinic to help you upgrade your carving skills on shaped skis. All participants should be able to ski parallel on blue square slopes.
DATES:  Three 2 hour sessions Saturday, January 16th, 23rd and 30th, 2010
TIME:     9am to 11am
FEE:       $120 (lift ticket not included)

 

Intro to Bumps
This specialized clinic is a smart introduction to bump skiing that will give you the right fundamentals. To participate, you should be able to ski parallel on blue and black slopes.
DATES:  Three 2 hour sessions Sunday, January 17th, 24th and 31st, 2010
TIME:     9am to 11am
FEE:       $120 (lift ticket not included)

     

Freeride for Boarders  Ages 8 and up
A program for boarders ages 8 & up managed by USASA and AASI qualified coaches, slopestyle, and freeriding. All riders participating in this program should be capable of riding a chairlift without an adult and be able to follow group instruction.
DATES:  10 weekend sessions starting December 19th, 2009 ending February 21st, 2010
TIME:     9am to 1pm
FEE:       $490 (lift ticket not included) before November 16th, 2009    $505.00 if paid after November 16,th 2009

 

Freeride Ski Program  Ages 8 and up
A program for skiers ages 8 & up conducted by the USASA and PSIA qualified coaches. Specialized training for the terrain parks, Skiercross and Freeride will be covered. This program is for intermediates through experts, however all participants must be able to competently ski on at least blue square terrain. Twin tip skis are strongly suggested.
DATES:  10 weekend sessions starting December 19th, 2009 ending February 21st, 2010
TIME:     9am to 1pm
FEE:       $490 (lift ticket not included) before November 16th, 2009   $505.00 if paid after November 16th, 2009

 

NEW THIS SEASON: A Special Needs/Adaptive Program is being offered to those who have visual impairments or who have a form of autism spectrum disorder and other types of developments delay issues. Our Snowsports department is excited about the opportunity to bring the experience of winter sports to a new segment of our community.
