About Blue Mountain Racing

For more than 25 years, the BMR (Blue Mountain Racing) program has trained alpine 
junior racers at every level of development. Director Matty DePaulo and the coaching
staff are dedicated to helping every athlete improve his or her skills. Training includes
dryland conditioning, free skiing skill development, photo and video analysis and
gate training up to five sessions per week on a homologated GS course with the
most vertical drop in Pennsylvania. Blue Mountain racers have enjoyed success at
local, state and regional events, many receiving post-season invitations as PA
State Champions and Junior Olympians. Program graduates have gone on to attend
ski academies or compete on college teams. The coaching staff includes
seasoned veterans with more than 20 years of coaching expertise, as well as former
stand-outs from the program who have returned to share their knowledge and
race experience with current competitors.
