Once again Blue Mountain has been selected to host the Pennsylvania J4 State Championship Race. This two day event will feature racers (12 years old and under) from the state of Pennsylvania who have qualified through regional events. Only members of USSA and PARA may compete and all USSA and PARA rules apply to this event. The top male and female skiers from this event will be chosen for the PA State Team and qualify for post season championship races in New England. Super Sunday Boarder-X & Skier-X
January 27, 2008 Sponsored by WAEB and Nestor's Warming Hut Blue Mountain's annual Super Sunday is open to all boarders and skiers who are looking for the challenge of head to head competition on a race course especially designed for this event. Racers will compete in elimination heats until only the best boarder or skier in each category remains undefeated. This year the top two women skiers and boarders and the top two skiers and boarders in our men's 18 and older division will qualify to go on to a regional terrain park event with the chance to qualify for an opportunity to compete in a national championship event. Helmets are required for all racers. Racers 17 years and younger must have a parent's signature on the Race Release Form.

For ski racers ages 7-17. This event is run on Raceway and each racer will run against the clock to see who is the fastest in their age division. First, second, and third place medals will be awarded to the individual racers in each category and trophies will be presented to the fastest male and the fastest female racer. Registration and bib pick-up will be from 5:30 – 6:30 PM in the Summit Lodge Cafeteria. The race will start promptly at 6:30 PM with the awards ceremony and party immediately following the conclusion of the race. Join us for an evening of friendly competition against ski racers from the local area. Parents are required to sign the Race Release Form that is on the back of the registration form and helmets are required.

The annual Eastern PA Ski Council Championship Race will once again be held at Blue Mountain on our dual slalom course set up on Raceway. Racers from Eastern PA Ski Clubs, belonging to the Council, are eligible to compete in this downhill race.
